FireDex AeroFlex Turnouts

FireDex AeroFlex turnouts are designed around targeted airflow and material choices for structural firefighting. VaporLite panels place a three-layer composite at the side seams, underarms, inner thighs and behind the knees, while AeroVent technology uses a one-way ventilation design to help sweat vapor escape. The panels combine a TECGEN71 outer shell, CoreCXP single-layer thermal liner and a choice of CROSSTECH Black, STEDAIR 4000 or Milliken Assure moisture barrier. In a sweating thermal-manikin evaluation using matching primary composites, AeroFlex measured 0.3°C lower core temperature and a 33% lower sweat rate than the comparison ensemble. Results reflect the reported test conditions.
